The app: step data

With your consent, the app reads your step count from Apple Health or Health Connect (Art. 6 (1) (a) and Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR). It only uses the step count to calculate game time. The app never writes to Health and reads no other health data.

Step data does not leave your device for our servers, and we do not share it with third parties. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the settings of Apple Health or Health Connect. New steps then no longer reach the game.

The app: saved game

Your game is saved locally on your device. If you delete the app, it is gone. Device backups, such as iCloud, depend on your device settings.

The app: app stores

When you download the app, the store operator, such as Apple, processes data on its own responsibility. Its privacy policy applies.

The website: hosting

The website runs on Firebase Hosting by Google. Each visit processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, requested page and browser identifier. This serves secure operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Data may be transferred to the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The website: no cookies, no tracking

We use no cookies and no analytics tools. Fonts are served from our own host, so your browser does not connect to third parties for them.

Contact by email

If you write to us, we only use your details to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed and no retention duty applies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. You may also complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the Data Protection Commissioner of Schleswig-Holstein.
